Over 60,000 species, richest diversity found in Brazil, Colombia and Indonesia. 60% of the species native to a single country, most endemic country is Brazil. Leguminosae is the most numerous family. Here is my current favorite: Ceiba pentandra, the giant Samaúma. OK, now go hug one!
